Sharp working girls will recognize this sensual scene for what it is - a standing lap dance.    This racy and scandalous erotic dance, performed by Asta Nielsen in the movie 'Gaucho', caused uproar when 'Afgrunden' (directed by Peter Urban Gad) was released in 1910. This is possibly the first filmed 'pole dance'.  Using a real man in place of a pole.
